6/1/2005 ::: NYSERDA Pilot Program Participants

Clinton Hill Apartments in Brooklyn, NY participated in a NYSERDA Pilot Project for Time-Sensitive Pricing (TSP) from 2003 - 2006, in which residents were billed on a time-of-use (TOU) rate as part of their submetered billing charges.  In June 2005, Waterside Plaza and Morningside Heights, both in New York City, were added to the NYSERDA Real-Time Pricing (RTP) Pilot Program.   Information on those programs is provided on this site under "NYSERDA Buildings"

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), as part of its efforts to ease the transition to electric deregulation in New York State, has sponsored several pilot projects to test the concept of time-sensitive pricing (TSP) and real-time pricing (RTP) for various customer sectors, including multifamily buildings.

Related NYSERDA-sponsored programs include electrical submetering, advanced metering and time-sensitive pricing pilot programs.
